RESOURCES

Complex trauma is the compound psychological effect of multiple traumatic events. These events are often of an invasive, interpersonal nature—and lead to wide-ranging, long-term detrimental health effects, including obesity, anorexia, suicidal ideation, drug and alcohol addiction and pervasive mental health issues.

 You are not alone

75% of people carry trauma or complex traumatic experiences.
Often traumas are neither recognized nor shared with others.
We recognize the impacts traumas bring, but frequently don't focus any attention on the cause of the trauma.

"It's like noticing a cut and applying a bandaid...
...but never questioning what caused the cut
...or the long term impact of the scar."
